Comcast Spring Break Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk The Cocktail Monkeys have been asked to open the Comcast Spring Break Festivities at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk!
The Cocktail Monkeys have been invited back to play for the 2008
PAC 10 "Ladies Night Out" Party This is a great opportunity for our fans to hear us play this Saturday. The ticket includes: casino games, specialty drinks, appetizers, and of course getting to see the Cocktail Monkeys. All of this is only $10. If you want to upgrade your tickets to see the two games on Saturday Night, it is only $20 more for a total of $30 for the special event and the games. You can purchase your tickets by calling (408) 977-4724. They will leave your tickets at Will Call for you to pick up the day of the show.

Cocktail Monkeys on TV!!!! The Cocktail Monkeys are scheduled to appear on the Guitar Showcase local television show; Makin' Music. The taping of the show will take place on December 11 2007. Cocktail Monkeys' first Official Music Video We just recently filmed our first music videos. Shot on location in Discovery Bay by filmmaker Rob Flowers and edited by Mark St. John, we now have one of the three songs filmed ready and available for viewing. The song covered on the first video is Black Velvet.It can be found on our myspace website at: www.myspace.com/thecocktailmonkeys. The other two songs that are still in production are You Shook Me All Night Long and Crazy On You. 2007 Last Band Standing Prep We're back in rehearsals preparing for more recordings that we will be submitting to this year's KFOX Last Band Standing Contest later this year. Many songs have been tossed around and ran through and we are still deciding what the final ones will be. Stand by to find out the chosen ones. Once recording is complete they will be posted right here on our official website as well as our myspace website. Cocktail Monkeys Original Song Although we are a cover band, we toyed with the idea of playing an original song every so often. Earlier this year we were presented a song written by local songwriter and friend of the band, Dave Maurischat. We all agreed it suited our sound and was a perfect song for us to learn and perform at our shows. We've been adding it to our set on occasion and it has been blending in nicely and getting positive reaction from all audiences. The next step is to record it and have it posted on our websites for everyone's listening pleasure.

Broadway The Cocktail Monkeys have been asked to play for the Kirigin Cellars' Summer BBQ· Saturday, July 21st from 1-5 PM This BBQ is open to the public so come enjoy live music & great food! Admission is $15, includes lunch, entertainment, souvenir wine glass, and wine tasting. Wine by the glass $4 whites, $5 reds.
